Connection guides
MT5 takes about two minutes and only needs a read-only investor password. Every other platform goes through the CSV importer.
MetaTrader 5
2 min- 1.Add a MetaTrader 5 account in Fips.
- 2.Enter your account number, broker server and investor (read-only) password.
- 3.Fips can read your history but can never place, modify or close trades.
- 4.Trades and balance then sync automatically every few minutes.
CSV import (all other platforms)
3 min- 1.Export your trade history as CSV from your platform or exchange.
- 2.In Fips, open Trading History → Import and drop the file in.
- 3.Check the column mapping: symbol, direction, entry, exit, P/L.
- 4.Import. Repeat whenever you want to bring in new trades.
